It's almost that time of year, when kids by the thousands hit the streets begging for CANDY!Something so small, yet this holiday is second only to CHRISTMAS to a kid.
Well what happens to the child born with SPECIAL NEEDS, and is not able to go out begging for a treat or two? The child who's blind, or maybe in a wheel chair.......think about it...they are kids too...yet so often forgotten.
This is where we come in....THE BIKERS....when you really think about it, we're kids too, just with bigger toys.
We have offered this event for 9 years now and once you've done this ride, you'll find yourself talking about how meaningful the day was....or that special child who had your attention.
This ride isn't one where one counts hundreds of bikes, but dozens and dozens, of SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS that will be waiting for us, when we roll into the parking lot at Mesquite Creek (in Clarkston)were the kids will be fed lunch, and have face painting done...There will even be a petting farm, filled with HALLOWEEN CLAD ANIMALS....... But the best part is when the Sound of THUNDER COMES OVER I-75 and to see the kids all lined up waiting our arrival......to see those smiles,on thier faces...and then the TEARS fo joy, running down parents faces, cause a group of bikers came together to make a day special just for thier kids.
See here's the deal, WE ASK YOU TO COME, RIDE WITH US, WEARING COSTUMES.....for the kids sake......some of them will also be dressed.......We have helpers place the kids , as they are the houses ( many are not able to get around...wheel chairs, cruches, etc.) We reverse the roll, taking treats, books, games, crayons, etc, to the kids......Man I can't tell you what you'll feel inside, when the little kids face lights up, cause YOU CAME OUT FOR THEM....making the day SPECIAL, JUST FOR THEM.......think about it.
Registration: BULLFROGS on M-15 in ORTONVILLE: 10am - 12:00 noon......$15.00 per person, lunch, served after trick or treating inside Mesquite CREEK.....Great Food and Music ......
We are seeking BIKERS with Halloween Clad outfits......or even those who's like to make a donation of Halloween items.
